This story was an expansion of the "what sheds want" story, looking at how sheds feel about their relationships with humans and the usefulness of the job they do together. It investigates the shed's place in the garden amongst the rapid coming and going of flowers and the slow development of trees - which need to be respected, since you never know when you may be looking at an actual ancestor.

Paul is a radio/ sound man, a respected colleague and a serial collaborator!
