Eight and a half: moving image - animation and sound by Fin McMorran

This moving image generates kaleidoscope patterns from a semi-abstract original image, and develops them to suggest growth, movement and the development of life and human activity on the planet as the sunlight spreads across it. Made for the Late Shows, it is 8 and a half minutes long, and refers to the 8 and a half minutes it takes the light from the sun to reach the earth
